Awards for best demo and the best poster
During the conference dinner Thursday night the three nominees for the best demo and the best poster were announced. The next day, during the plenary opening, the awards for best poster and best demo were handed over to the winners. Luis Fonseca from IMB-CNM (CSIC) won the price for best poster and the demo of DelftIMP was rated as best demonstration.
During the conference, more than 70 posters were presented on the ground floor in the RAI in Amsterdam. Visitors had the opportunity to observe the posters and the jury voted for their favourite poster.
DelftIMP won the price for best demo. Delft University of Technology has worked for more than ten years on a new technology to produce next generation nanostructured particles. During their demonstration, a small-scale demo of the pneumatic transport reactor was shown to the visitors of Industrial Technologies. In this reactor, the pneumatic transport of particles, the homogeneous coating of the particles and the power of this concept were visible. For more information about the project you can contact Bart van Limpt (CEO) or visit the website of DelftIMP.
Luis Fonseca from IMB-CNM (CSIC) won the price for best poster. The title of his poster was SiNERGY: Silicon friendly micro energy device solutions. Luis has worked for 36 months (starting on the first of November 2013) on materials solutions for durable energy harvesters. He was supported by nine partners from four countries.
